eyeSPY

eyeSPY is Hyperion’s most recent meteorological product and is used for storm-surge monitoring during tropical storms and hurricanes.¬† The unit is capable of measuring wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity and storm surge with cell¬† phone and/or satellite based telemetry reporting back to the user.

eyeSPY was recently tested in actual storm conditions during Hurricane Isaac as it made landfall along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and not only survived the storm, but collected a wealth of information during the entire surge event.
